SECURITY & TRUST
A straight answer, before you ask.
Buuka is a new name run by one person, not a big company you've heard of. Here's exactly what that means for your data and your clients'.
Who runs this
[CONFIRM: your full legal name] trading as Buuka, ABN [CONFIRM], based in Perth, Western Australia.
Where your data lives
The database runs on Supabase, hosted in the Southeast Asia (Singapore) region — confirmed in the project dashboard, not an assumption.
Your business stays separate from every other business
Every piece of data — clients, bookings, payments, staff — is tagged to your business and filtered by it on every single request. That filter runs twice: once in the application code, and again as a database-level rule (Row Level Security) that holds even if the application code had a bug. Two independent checks, not one.
Backups
[CONFIRM: what your current Supabase plan backs up, and how often — check Database → Backups in the Supabase dashboard].
Payments
Card payments are handled by Stripe, directly into each business's own bank account. Buuka never sees or stores a card number, and the money never passes through a Buuka account.
Leave whenever you want
Every plan can export its clients, bookings, payments and crew payouts as CSV, any time, from Settings → Your data — no add-on, no waiting, no asking us first.
