LEGAL
Crew app terms
EFFECTIVE 2 NOVEMBER 2026
You work for the business that invited you, not for Buuka. That business uses Buuka to send you jobs and track your work. Buuka provides the app only.
1. Your work arrangement
The business decides whether you’re an employee or a contractor, and is responsible for your pay, superannuation, tax, insurance, leave and safety at work. Questions about any of these go to the business. Buuka is not your employer, agent or client, and doesn’t set your rate, hours or jobs.
2. Pay figures in the app
The earnings shown in the app are calculated from the rates and hours the business enters. They’re estimates to help you plan. Your actual pay is what the business pays you. If something looks wrong, raise it with the business.
3. Using the app
- Your invite link signs you in on your phone. Don’t share it or your login.
- Use the app only for work for the business that invited you.
- Client details, such as addresses, gate codes and phone numbers, are given to you to do the job. Don’t copy, share or use them for anything else.
- When you check in, the app records the time. If location is turned on, it may record where you are at that moment.
4. Your information
The business decides how your information is used, and Buuka stores it on its behalf. See Buuka’s Privacy Policy. If you add bank details, they’re used only so the business can pay you.
5. Leaving
The business can remove your access at any time. If you stop working with them, your access ends, but they may keep records of your past jobs and pay as the law requires.
