Booking terms for clients

EFFECTIVE 2 NOVEMBER 2026

Your booking is with the business you booked with, not with Buuka. That business runs its booking page using Buuka, a booking and scheduling software provider. These terms explain Buuka’s role. The business’s own terms (price, what’s included, changes and refunds) apply to your booking.

1. Who does what

Who is responsible for what, the business or Buuka

2. Prices and payments

Prices are set by the business and shown before you confirm. If you pay online, your card is processed by Stripe and the money goes to the business. Buuka never sees your full card number and never holds your money. Receipts and invoices are issued by the business.

3. Changing or cancelling

If the business allows it, you can change or cancel online from the link in your confirmation, within the times shown on your booking. Fees, refunds and anything outside those times are decided by the business. Contact the business directly for anything else.

4. Your details

The details you give are shared with the business so it can deliver your booking, and stored by Buuka on its behalf. The business is responsible for how it uses them. See Buuka’s Privacy Policy for how we store and protect them. We never use your details to market to you.

5. Problems with the service

If something goes wrong with the work, contact the business using the phone or email on your booking. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are with the business that provided the service, and nothing here changes them.

If you think a booking page is fake or misleading, tell us at support@buuka.com.au.

6. Messages

By booking, you agree that the business can contact you about this booking, by text and email, through Buuka. These are service messages. Marketing messages, such as review requests or offers, are sent only if you agreed to them, and each one tells you how to stop them.
